Background - A Solid Work Ethic

Laura grew up in Ft. Worth, Texas in a close-knit family where hard work was a top priority. Her entrepreneurial skills emerged with her first business, knocking doors and mowing the neighbors' lawns with her girlfriend, around the age of 11 or so.

She also worked hard on her grandparents' farm planting and tending a huge garden, completely gutting and remodeling an old home, and taking care of the animals.

She went on to get her first "real job" at McDonald's where she was given accolades and promotions. In 1979, at the age of 19, she was hired as a bank teller by First City Bank in Arlington, Texas.

While going on to work in the banking industry for six years, she obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with a specialty in Accounting, at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), graduating in 1985. 

Personal - Family First

She and Steve married in May, 1986. After working for 5 years as an Assistant Controller in the oil & gas and manufacturing industries. She went on to work as an Equipment Accountant for the Super Conducting Super Collider. Starting in 1990, with the birth of her first child, Laura stayed home for the next 15 years to support Steve in his career and raise/educate their three beautiful daughters. 

The family moved to the Marshall Islands in 2000, where they lived the idyllic island lifestyle. Then the Reynolds Clan relocated to Las Cruces in 2003.

Laura obtained her real estate license in 2004 and trained under the venerable David Steinborn, when he still owned the brokerage he built here in Las Cruces (now owned by someone else). Mr. Steinborn was a practicing broker for almost 50 years, so he was highly knowledgable!

She was awarded the Steinborn GMAC Real Estate "2005 Rising Star Award." In 2006 she was a multi-million dollar producer, tripling her production in her second year in the business. In 2007, Laura again increased her production in a slowing market, consistently selling $5M to $6M per year over the next few years.

Las Cruces Real Estate - Birth and Growth:

Laura earned her Qualifying Broker's license in 2013, whereupon she and Steve opened Las Cruces Real Estate, a very successful high-end, high-tech, cutting-edge real estate brokerage, specializing in beautiful digital marketing and excellent customer services. We then put together the best team designed to assist YOU with the highest quality of care, for ALL your real estate transactions.

She has been married to Steve for 33 years and they have three beautiful daughters, Alyssa, Julianne, and Michelle. Family continues to be her highest priority, although assisting clients every step along the way is a very important, and FUN part of her life.
